Emmanuel Asomani Ofosu is an astute loss prevention expert with over seven (7) years of experience in terminal operations, procedures and projects.
Currently, he is the HSSE Manager for Tema Tank Farm Ltd (TTFL), Ghana’s biggest and safest private hydrocarbon depot. Ofosu started his career with the RFCC department of Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) as a process engineer.
He then proceeded to Technofab Engineering as HSE Coordinator to construct white products 84,000MT AST and 4,000MT LPG vessels for FUELTRADE. He joined DeSimone as HSE supervisor to construct an in-land terminal for APM-Maersk, then TTF in 2013.
He had the privilege at TTF to rise through as an HSSE Officer to Manager, to deliver successful projects. His rich knowledge in Occupational and Process Safety Management afforded him the leverage to deal with complex risk terminal events.
Together with his team of Loss Prevention specialists, they have ensured operational integrity, prevention and management of oil terminal risk.
Ofosu is a Chemical Engineer with an MSc in Environmental Management, an IRCA Associate auditor and a member of GhIE.
